Installed 310 L.F. of permanent beam and lagging Earth Retention System with retained heights up to 12’-0”. This ERS was cantilevered with no requirement for Tie-Backs.
All vertical beams were installed using an Auger Cast Pile installation method. Holes were drilled and grouted and vertical beams were set in the fluid grout.
The wall was then faced with treated wood lagging with a life span of 100 years.
All piles were installed on a hillside to retain the hill and a previously installed and failing retaining wall.
Another function of the new wall was eliminating a portion of the hillside creating a larger parking area for the new sports facility.
